When Harry met Sally

Whilst in NYC it is safe to say I did a lot of eating.

It would perhaps be more accurate to say I did a LOT of eating but hey, that's what holidays are for.

The Boy was going on and on for weeks beforehand about this place he'd read about called Katz's Delicatessen, which is a legendary New York landmark that I'd always heard a lot about but never actually been to. It is even the real life diner Where Harry Met Sally, way back in 1989.

And the food

My word, the food.

It was a meat feast, that's for sure.

Iced Tea, my absolute favourite drink in the world

Katz's has a real old-fashioned sense of community and the service was just as good (if not better) than some of the more uppity establishments we visited. It was really busy with tourists and locals a like and one of the family owners even came over for a chat, which made our visit even more special.

We had an amazing time and will definitely be back for more pastrami next time we're in the city.

New York has real chips (who knew)
If you're ever in NYC and are most definitely not a vegetarian, Katz's Delicatessen can be found at 205 East Houston Street (corner of Ludlow St)
